BIG SKY RANCH
Napa Valley, California, USA
Napa Big Sky Ranch is on the top of the Atlas Peak grape-growing region of Napa. It is approximately 5 miles away from the Silverado Resort (access to spa, gym and pool) and just 10 minutes away from the Silverado Trail which boasts some of the best wine tasting in the region. Healthy, pure artesian water is available for drinking & bathing and the calm, peaceful mountain-top setting brings one back to another place and time. Napa Big Sky Ranch is a perfect place to come and unwind, read a book, listen to the stillness of nature and be at peace with the world. This place is full of silent stillness and a rustic zen mountain retreat. Yet, if you want world class cuisine, you can have that too because the towns of St. Helena, Rutherford and Calistoga are within reach. This is a great place for a party with the large meadow and secluded setting. Napa Big Sky Ranch is 55 acres of native California woodlands complete with native grasses, meadows oak and madrone trees.

Quaint, Sweet Natural Setting
Notes: Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations). Catering Available. The ranch possesses some gorgeous vistas of the valley below and is an original site for native Americans as well as early settlers who homesteaded the land and left ruins such a stone corrals and fences. There are also remnants of an early stage coach line which traversed the property. Many native American arrowheads have been found on the land and you can almost feel the ancient spirits of the ancestors residing there still today.
We want to be able to share this beautiful place with other people and allow them to enjoy the healthy benefits of the artesian water and peaceful mountain setting.

Review Submitted: November 9, 2010 Date of Stay: November 2010 We've stayed 3 nights (5 couples) and enjoyed well maintained house and beautiful nature around the house. Especially the large fire pit for camp fire every night. Friendly deers are wandering in the large property. Nicely prepared trail in the property. Very kind and helpful manager. We want to come back again soon.

Review Submitted: October 5, 2010 Date of Stay: September 2010 We were in Napa to attend my Nephew's wedding in town. A total of 10 people stayed at house and the accomodations were perfect. We didn't need for anything. We are outdoors kind of people and loved the hiking trails and surrounding landscape. The kids were also thrilled there was satellite tv and a dvd player for watching movies at night. We enjoyed the short drive into town...although, it is difficult to keep your eyes on the road due to the spectacular views driving down. The multi patio areas at the home allow you to watch sunrise and sunset, the deer come up in the evenings and morning hours to eat from the pears that have fallen from a tree and enjoy the fantastic weather. We would opt to stay on the property again without hesitation. Lisa Grapevine, TX
