Step through the gates of Spring House and you will be welcomed by a serene fountain and Zen statuary. Enjoy secluded privacy in a lush tropical setting. Step outside the gates and you are a mere 5 minute walk from Butterfly Beach - the most beautiful beach in Santa Barbara, the historic Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel and Spa, and Coast Village Road - the exclusive heart of Montecito with a wide variety of dining options, boutiques and gift shops, and business and banking services. The layout of Spring House allows maximum flexibility for multiple families or families traveling with a nanny. This property is owner managed and we are committed to ensuring you have the vacation of your dreams, so please ask us if you have any special needs. We will respect your privacy: Spring House will be ready and waiting for you with no management contact unless you initiate it.

Spring House exceeds customary expectations, and is a luxury experience from original art to thread count to Viking appliances. The living room contains two separate conversation areas which lead to an enclosed terrace through two sets of French doors, where a second fountain provides background music for your dining or lounging pleasure. The formal dining room seats six with room for additional tables and an adjacent bar with five bar stools. The first kitchen is adjacent to the dining room in an open floor plan style sharing the warmth of a gas fueled fireplace and a flatscreen tv. The kitchen is appointed with Viking appliances, granite countertops and a soaring ceiling with skylights. A glass door and pass through windows over a farmhouse sink give way to a gracious brick patio decorated with potted plants and dense landscaping where the third of four fountains gurgles while you dine or relax. The BBQ is located here. The media room also serves as a fourth bedroom with complete privacy; it houses a 47' flatscreen, a second fireplace, and a queen sleeper sofa with additional memory foam feather bed. The studio contains a queen bed, an abbreviated kitchen (sink, microwave, mini-fridge), and a full bathroom. The wall of windows in the studio folds open to a lanai with treadmill, fountain, jacuzzi and sauna.

The master bedroom is furnished with an exotic teak king bed, a fireplace, and flatscreen. It includes a huge walk-in closet with built-in dresser, an en suite bathroom with travertine counters and floors and a dressing table. The second bedroom also has an en suite bathroom, a queen four-poster, and a private balcony. The third bedroom is charmingly decorated with a seating area, and contains a king size bed and a daybed with trundle to sleep four people comfortably. A fourth full bathroom is adjacent to the media room and the third bedroom. The house is well stocked with iPod docking stations, movies, books, games, and puzzles.

The multiple cooking and dining options make Spring House a perfect location for major holidays or multi-family vacations. The extensive landscaping is well-lit for leisurely al fresco evenings in Santa Barbara's year-round temperate climate.   Our family recently rented this home for our visit to Montecito for our sons wedding. We had 4 couples and two other adults and all slept very comfortable. The house was an amazing place for all of us to be able to spend time together visiting, BBQ-ing and enjoying drinks on the patio. There was everything that we could ever need and more, pictures are very accurate as to what you will find here. Walking distance to beach, shopping and restaurants. Betsy was wonderful to work with and very helpful with suggestions for things we needed for the wedding. I would highly recommend this home and definitely would stay there again.

  Fabulous for extended family getaway!

  This house was wonderful for my husband's family (4 other couples) to join us in visiting our 2 children at UCSB for a long weekend/sorority event. It's a spacious home with plenty of privacy (only 2 rooms shared a bath - the large bedroom and the media room). There was lots of room to gather and eat with kids and friends. Lovely relaxing décor (though some treasures would worry me if we had small children). Extremely easy access to the freeway, short walk to Butterfly Beach/Biltmore and Lower Montecito Village, very quick trip to East Beach where the event took place. Close to bike path, easy biking to downtown SB. The freeway is very close but no noise disturbance. Very close to the tracks but only occasionally bothered by long train whistles, not usually during the night. Should not be a deterrent. There is a high fence all around the property and quite a few different outdoor areas to enjoy. I assumed the studio was detached from the main house but it is attached to the large family bedroom (the one with daybed), with two doors and the laundry vestibule in between the two rooms. So studio guests must pass through the large bedroom to get to common areas unless they go through the yard to the kitchen or front door (just something to keep in mind when doling out room assignments). The sofa bed in the media room was comfortable for my brother-in-law and had total privacy when the covered French doors were closed. The Jacuzzi was a nice added bonus. The owners provide lots of local information. As regular visitors to SB, we agree with many of their recommendations. We would definitely return to this house if we come again with a big group (maybe for graduation).

  The home and grounds are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and in a perfect location! Could not have been more conveniently located. Easy drive from the airport, 1 minute from Hwy 101. Easy walk to Coast Village Road, the beach, MANY fine shops and restaurants! The home was very comfortable, beautifully furnished, with plenty of space for our group to spread out.   Great Family Getaway

  What an amazing vacation! We couldn't have been happier with the house and the location. There were so many different little areas which was perfect for our large family. The children had plenty of room to play and be loud while the aunts, uncles and grandparents had their own patio with some peace and quiet. The house was very clean and well maintained. It truly felt like we had our own little resort.
