The Estate

Entering The Palms is through automated gates into a circular California gold gravel driveway lined with mature queen palm trees. Additional parking spaces are located at boths end of the house. The landscape includes thirty-six queen palm trees, succulents, cacti, coral trees, pine trees, South American Tipuana trees, eucalyptus trees, birds of paradise, blue fan palms, vines, ornamental grasses, rose plants, and twenty avocado trees.

The Palms sits on a 63,000 square feet lot, all of which is useable space. The ocean is just two blocks away. Imagine living in the fresh ocean breezes, known to enhance your quality of life and longevity. The surrounding areas, mostly estate homes, have many wide-open spaces, making you feel like your living in the country.


Automated gates lead into a semi-circular front driveway.

Living Room (22' x 31')
French doors open into verandas and gardens

Enjoy alone in the middle of the day, with the front and back French doors open. With its 13 foot pitched beam ceiling and no two walls parallel, the acoustics of this room are outstanding. Enjoy your favorite music in warmth and openness. The living room is ideal for live music to entertain guests in the back yard in the afternoon and early evening, then inside later that night. French doors open into verandas and gardens. A skylight provides natural daytime illumination.

Step into the warm inviting kitchen from the pool patio, the living room or the dining room. Twelve-foot cathedral ceilings and skylights create a feeling of total spaciousness. Granite countertops feature twin sinks with plenty of working space. Pull up a stool and chat at the large center island. Enjoy breakfast at the spacious breakfast nook overlooking the gardens and crystalline aquamarine pool. Appliances include Sub –Zero fridge and freezer, 2 Dacor broiler/ovens, Bosch dishwasher and ample cabinetry. French doors open up to an outdoor living area with fireplace. This kitchen is spacious, bright and functional. A gourmet cooks dream.

You will notice the calming pastel colors and large open spaces ideal for practicing yoga or meditation. This suite features built in entertainment center, walk in closet and wall-to-wall pure New Zealand wool carpet.

The property features 4 bedrooms plus an office, 2.5 baths, outdoor shower, pool, hot tub, tennis court, and a basketball hoop. Sleeps 10.

Terms:
$1500 Security Deposit, $400 Cleaning Fee, 3 night minimum. Summer rate applies to UCSB, SBCC graduation weeks and all major holidays. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change. All monthly rates do not include utilities.

 

Event Rental

A beautiful and romantic place to have a wedding.

Terms:
Weddings require a minimum of 3 days vacation rental at current seasonal rates. Up to 10 people from the wedding party can stay in the house during the minimum 3 days. There is a $500 cleaning fee for events. All subcontractors require approval by owner. There is room to park 14 -20 cars with valet service (required). Shuttle service for additional cars is (required).
