We booked this place for 6 couples last minute. They were very accommodating and let us check in early. The pictures do not do this place justice. We all said they need to put new pics up. It’s a beautiful property! We had a memorable trip and hope to be back. Manger even helped us with securing plans in the area. She was great! The only thing that would have made it better is more king size beds. Everyone had their own space and the property was perfect for our size group. The view is beautiful. We were a quick drive to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend!

We had our children , spouses & 14 grandkids ages 1 to 24. The house couldn't have been more perfect . If you want a relaxing, peaceful, beautiful place to go, this is the house for you. Renee L.

This home is beautiful and even more grand in person. We had a large group from ages ranging from 70 to 5 and all of us found something new to do on the property everyday. From watching movies in the theater, swimming in the heated pool, reading a book on the labyrinth, to having a glass of wine on the patio overlooking the city as the sun was setting, we all enjoyed every moment spent on the property.The staff was courteous and respectful and the home was incredibly clean and the grounds were very well maintained. We found new nooks, crannies and hideaway places everyday, including the last one...and all were intriguing, lovely, fun and offered something for everyone in our very large party. It was headquarters for our family and wedding party and within easy reach of downtown and the Montecito CC, where we held the reception. All our guests were amazed and delighted with the house, the pool area and the expansive grounds. The view was breathtaking, overlooking the sloping hills to the sea. Beautiful, large and well maintained home with excellent views! Our extended family spent four days at the Villa celebrating Christmas and couldn't have asked for anything better. We rent large Villa's every few years and this was by far the best. Lots of room for the kids to play and have fun and they certainly did using the game room, movie theatre, pool and spa. The adults played bocce ball on the grass area, cards on one of the outside tables and just hung out relaxing. It helped the weather was great. The Villa has a very Tuscany feel to it. We all were very impressed and will definitely be back! Steve

Absolutely beautiful property. There are so many areas to enjoy as a group or to spend time individually. The pool, the game room and the theater offered lots of entertainment and the terrace was well furnished and a wonderful place to gather. Words cannot adequately express how highly we recommend Villa Verano. It is simultaneously unbelievably opulent, yet so comfortable we felt immediately at home. The customer service was unbelievable. I was looking for a beautiful house to create a special weekend for my wife. Leaving San Francisco was easy because the house is not far from the airport and it was nice, sunny, and quiet and that was all we needed.

My family and I rented this home for a week vacation and were blown away by the beauty and elegance. It embodies the romance of Santa Barbara while making you feel so comfortable and at home. We cooked and grilled every night. The kitchen has everything you can imagine. The kids loved the game room, the theater and the pool. I loved the master bedroom and it's private balconies.

Like a lot of the other reviewers I only saw the home online and was hoping it looked just like the pictures. It's even more beautiful than the pictures portray. The Owner was so generous and accommodating. I could not have asked for a better experience. I can't wait to come back next year.

Our recent family gathering here was fantastic! We had rented the home site unseen and initially had some concerns about whether the photos on the website would represent reality. In truth, the photos don't do the home justice. The home has so much space and room for each guest to feel a part of the gathering, yet be able to get away for a little seclusion. The meandering gardens are lush and beautiful. There were so many perfect locations for our photographer to take great family shots. The pool was the biggest hit with the kids (huge movie theater was a close second) and every evening was spent on the patio for dinner. Great view. Couldn't have asked for a better place and the owners were so accommodating. The home is well stocked for cooking, etc. We will definitely be back.

We chose this villa from the web site as the location for a family gathering to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. The web site does not begin to to convey the full beauty of this magnificent home. It really is like being a guest in a family home rather than a rental. The house is spotless, superbly maintained with friendly helpful staff. I would recommend this home to anyone. In addition, the location is perfect with wonderful views towards the ocean from ample, well furnished large terraces all set within mature beautiful gardens and walkways. Our only regret is not staying longer - simply magic.
