Casa Alta is a three bedroom two bath Mediterranean inspired home located in a charming neighborhood near Napa's downtown. The house will welcome you with its gleaming hardwood floors, freshly painted interior and exterior arched doorways and curved ceilings. Each bedroom is appointed with a luxurious queen sized, pillow top mattress, fine linens and cozy bedding. High quality furniture, antiques and many original works of art are around every corner. Sit at the desk where you can make unlimited local and long distance phone calls, plan your day, peruse the guest book or connect your computer to wireless internet access.

Enter the house through your private courtyard shrouded in potted plants, climbing wisteria and Olive Trees. The back yard is a world all it's own with flagstone patio, hot tub, charcoal barbecue, and partially enclosed outdoor dining room and sitting area. Relax in lounge seating, read a book or take a nap in the outdoor daybed or indulge in the culinary delights you've spent your days collecting!
Take a ten minute walk to the incredible Oxbow Market, which houses six restaurants, coffee shop, a wine and cheese merchant, an actual distillery, bakery, tea shop, chocolatier, spices, butcher shop, fresh seafood, organic ice cream, olive oil, gifts and more. Catch the wine trolley from here or board the wine train nearby or continue on to Napa's downtown, where choices abound from day spas, theater, wine tasting rooms and shopping to a plethora of world class restaurants.

Hundreds of wineries are a short drive away, many in the beautiful Carneros region or the Stags Leap wine district, both within five miles. Take flight in a hot air balloon, ride the wine train or hire a tour company to pick you up at Casa Alta and explore.

Wonderful Stay and Great Location

This home was a great fit for our girls trip in Nov 2016. Everything was clean and the property was ready on time for our arrival. It is very centrally located for walking or quick rides into downtown, and it was a straight shot into the valley for wine tasting. The outdoor area was beautiful and relaxing and just as pictured in the property details. It met our expectations perfectly and we had a great stay! Would definitely recommend. Erika, Alameda, CA

Charming stay in Napa Valley

The house was so charming, perfect size for our group of 5. Belinda had everything ready for us when we arrived and made some great suggestions for wineries and local restaurants. The Oxbow Market was a great place for a glass of wine, dinner, gifts and organic fruits and vegetables. We are looking forward to our next trip to Napa and will stay here again. Thanks, Dawn

Charming, amazing back yard, perfect location

We came in for a girl's weekend and couldn't have been happier with Casa Alta. The house itself is very charming with comfortable beds and everything you could need for an easy home away from home. Location was perfect- 20 minute walk from downtown and a bike ride away from many wineries. And last but not least, the back yard is perfection. We spent most of our time out there drinking wine, eating cheese, enjoying the hot tub. It was a perfect weekend. If I come back to Napa, I will be staying here again! And all the girls feel the same way :) Sarah P.

Location, location, location!!!

A 10-minute walk from downtown Napa and its virtually endless choices for restaurants and wine bars, a 15-minute drive from the Skyline Wilderness Park with its endless hiking trails, and a 2-minute drive from the Silverado Trail, this vacation home could hardly be better situated. The house itself is very comfortable for 2 couples and the kitchen more than ample for those who want to cook and eat in. The most compelling part of the property is the back area with its large, partly covered, well-furnished pergola (including a dining table) and multi-person hot tub. A really fine choice for an active, low stress vacation! bjjb

Great Location and Outdoor space

The home was clean, well equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed the quiet backyard space each evening. Laundry, hot tub and grill were an added bonus. Trader Joes, Whole Foods and Oxbow Market were all within close proximity. Gina, S.

Fantastic in the Napa Valley!

Casa Alta is a perfect house for a Napa get together. We were a group of 3 retired sisters who get together every year in various locations. Casa Alta has just risen to the top of "our chart" of best places to stay. The location is perfect for getting to all parts of the Napa Valley. The house is comfortable, well kept, and the hot tub is perfect for the evening finale of visiting wineries and other points of interest in the Valley. We leave our spouses at home, however, the house would easily accommodate 3 couples. One of our 'Best Picks'!! Joe and Judith

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at Casa Alta. The house suited our needs perfectly: comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, great living space, and outdoor space.
