Review Submitted: September 27, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2011 I spent a week here with my kids and other guests who came and went. It has a great nautical feel to it, and despite being small, worked for the whole family. Pat was very easy going and made us feel welcome. The location was perfect and parking was easy. The galley style kitchen and outdoor grill worked for preparing several meals. The bathrooms were nice, and the shower with the door leading directly to the beach worked great for the dogs and kids.

Owner's Response: We pride ourselves on taking good care of our clients, not only with a tour and refreshments when they arrive, but with our wonderful cleaners who make sure that the baths and kitchens are full of amenities, pantry, and laundry supplies, and that the hot tub is clean and hot. The house and beach are wonderful for everyone from beach walkers to water sports enthusiasts, with chic Coast Village Road shopping and dining just a short walk away. Rating 5 out of 5 Steve S.

Review Submitted: March 22, 2011 Date of Stay: February 2011 I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful time we had at your beautiful cottage. This year we were fascinated by the beach dynamics. The sand geography different every day! Also this year we played tourist and saw the Reagan and Getty museums -- both breathtaking. Thank you for your warm hospitality, wine and snacks. You are perfect hosts. We now feel fortified to go back to Wisconsin snow, ice and politics.

Dear Pat - In response to your request, I would be happy to put in print what I have already told you verbally. This past Sept. made the third year that I rented your beach house, Casita La Concha at Miramar Beach. I initially rented it because it is so convenient to my home in Woodland Hills and my guests could make the trip to visit in under an hour. However I quickly found that the ambience of the place was extrordinary. My friends said it looked like something out of the movies. While it is not extremely large, it is perfect for having company and some can even stay over. The furnishings are tasteful and the supplies such as the linens and towels are high quality.
You certainly can't beat the location of the end of the crescent shaped Miramar Beach with a beautiful view in both directions. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who desires a picturesque get-away In fact you never get the idea that it is, in fact, a rental house. It is so well taken care of that it seems like one is visiting a friends place. Dear Pat,

I just want to write to tell you what an incredibly lovely place you have with Casita La Concha. We felt so at
home. It's bright and airy and the renovation is so well designed. Of course the location and beach is the best we've found in Santa Barbara.But beyond that, staying there actually changed my view about what kind of space we should all live in. You don't really need a massive place if you have fantastic design and location. It really has everything you need and feels twice as big because of the very thoughtful way it's all laid out, the charm, and the attention paid to the details. We loved everything about it, the crescent beach, the step out your door to the sand, the balcony view, the hot tub, the gas grill,
even the short little drive into the beautiful village of Montecito. We can't wait to go back and definitely plan to come at least once every year and hopefully much more.
