Enjoy the rustic elegance of this Mediterranean Villa set on the knoll of a hill atop the oak forest of the beautiful Las Positas Valley. The property is 1.3 acres, beautifully landscaped around the Villa and surrounded by oak trees with views of the City and the Channel Islands. The Villa has 5 bedrooms, 4 & 1/2 baths, great room, kitchen with dining nook & Media room. Every amenity is included in this truly spectacular home. It is a short walk, bike ride or drive to Arroyo Burro Beach ( Hendry's) the locals favorite beach. Centrally located in the center of the city yet set in the last undeveloped rural valley between the freeway and the ocean it is within 5 minutes of downtown, the harbor, the Mesa and upper State St. The Villa is one of the City’s newest landmarks.


Greatroom: The great room has tumbled travertine floors, Massive trusses in the open beamed lodge style ceiling, a large stone fireplace and 3 sets of 8 foot solid alder double French doors leading out to the veranda and back yard. The great room has views of the valley and the Channel Islands. Perfect for conversation, relaxing in front of the fireplace and watching movies on the 45 inch HD flat screen TV with surround sound. An antique Spanish door transformed into a beautiful table that seats 10 defines the dinning area between the lounging area and the kitchen. There is a beautiful and grand custom designed wrought iron chandelier overhead.

Kitchen: The kitchen is state of the art with stainless steel Viking appliances including a 6 burners and griddle range with double ovens. We can help arrange a professional chef at your request. There is a large island with a breakfast bar and a separate dining nook. The nook has built-in booth style seating as well as accommodating extra table chairs plus 26 inch HD flat screen TV. There is another set of the 8 foot French doors leading to a potted garden with a fountain and patio area with a small table and seating, perfect for morning coffee.

Master Bedroom: The Villa Master Bedroom is upstairs off the balcony. Two 8 foot solid alder doors are at the entry to the room. There are 8 foot French doors that open to a private deck with a Jacuzzi and views of the city and the Channel Islands. An outside stairway leads down to the back yard and Veranda. The Villa Master Bedroom is surrounded by windows with views of the mountains, City and Islands. There is a king size bed with the finest linens. The Villa Master Bathroom includes travertine wanes coating, 2 pedestal sinks, a large travertine enclosed walk-in shower and a fabulous soaking tub.

  Rented Veronica Springs Villa for girl's getaway and it was perfect! The house is beautiful and in the perfect location. Everyone had their own lovely space to relax. Easy to get to everything! We will definitely be headed back!

• Fantastic Weekend

  I rented the house for a long weekend to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday with some close friends. We all had a wonderful time, loved the house and the location was great! We all jogged to the beach one morning (about a mile or so) and found a great hike through hills on the way back. Every room is beautifully appointed and no one felt like they drew the short straw... However I have to say the Master bedroom and bath were pretty awesome! Chrissy is a very gracious host and helped make it a great weekend! I would highly recommend staying here, but if you do stay here make sure to take good care of the place because I will be back!

• Far Beyond Expectations

  My wife and I rented the Villa for six weeks during the winter. The house is absolutely spectacular! A great deal of love and attention to detail went into its design and furnishings, and it shows in every room. The grounds and landscaping are equally spectacular. They are meticulously maintained weekly. The location was fabulous--five minutes from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, the beach and the Beachhouse restaurant (don't miss it!). On a scale of one to ten the property is a TEN. But the real surprise was Chrissy and her husband. They were totally committed to making our stay perfect. And it was. They are a TEN PLUS.

• Heaven on earth.

  This exquisite 6 bedroom home with a fabulous view spoiled my family rotten! Add to that an extraordinary dinner with Cindy Dollar's Healthy Creations and you'll never want to leave the property. Although it's best to have a car to get into town, the beach is only about 5 minutes away and my adult children jogged the neighborhoods as well as down to the beach. Christine, owner, was great. It's a pristine palace, even for a completely allergic person like myself. Highly recommend both home and Cindy Dollar....will definitely return !

• Perfect luxury family vacation house!

  We just got back from a fabulous multi-family trip to Veronica Springs where four couples, plus kids rang in the new year in style. The house was absolutely gorgeous and would appeal to the most discriminating guests used to the world's top hotels. Crissy's thoughtful design left no detail to chance. From the central music system, both inside and out, to the top of the line chef's kitchen, to the water fountains, hot tub and outdoor fire pit - we loved the house so much, we hardly left to explore. When we did venture out, we found the location centrally located to town and the beach, yet situated among rolling hills. Even with our large group, the doors were so think, we all slept in! My only comment is a few bedroom windows could use more dark curtains to block morning light but other than that, everything in the home is top of the line. It's worth a visit to step into the pages of Architectural Digest to admire this perfect Santa Barbara style villa. Thank you Crissy for a memorable family vacation!

  Girls Weekend at the Veronica Springs Villa!

  The Veronica Springs Villa is absolutely beautiful and the perfect rental for a long getaway weekend. It is nestled up on a hill with a stunning view from the back patio area, with sights of both the mountains and the ocean. The house itself was impeccably designed, the kitchen and living room area are fantastic areas to gather everyone together, everything is updated and the furniture is so comfortable - every bedroom basically has their own full bathroom as well and can very comfortably fit 10 people. The location of the house is also ideal, it is so close to the Santa Barbara Pier and just a mile away from one of my favourite restaurants, The Boathouse, which is right on the water. I highly recommend renting this house to anyone who is looking for the best and most relaxing stay in Santa Barbara! I will absolutely be renting it again on my next trip!

• Five star experience

  We rented this home for a week for a family vacation that included toddlers to seniors and we all had a blast. From the beginning, the experience was wonderful, Chrissy was quick to respond and completely professional. The home is a beautiful residence and the grounds are breathtaking. The attention to detail throughout the home is spectacular and the location is a short drive to all that Santa Barbara has to offer. I highly recommend.

• Perfect getaway house, roomy for entire family

  I stayed here with my extended families for my Santa Barbara wedding.. It couldn't have been a more perfect fit for what I was looking for! The house is absolutely beautiful.. and designed with such unique, high end touches. We cooked dinners inside and enjoyed the views and large outside space as well. An upstairs media room was perfect for games and movie watching.. Just really loved how spacious this place was! Couldn't have asked for a better fit for all 11 of us! And each of us had our own beds without crowding! Christine was super accomodating, and helped make my wedding weekend go smoothly! Would recommend to anyone looking for a spacious beautiful group house, close to town (and the beach!)..
